Have you tried to swap the "but" with the "and"? Thanks to my CTI training, I did and the quality of my conversations have increased tremendously!
BUT denies everything I said before and shines a negative light to what comes next. It's like closing the curtain on the stage and reducing the space for action.
"I hear you but I need to go"
What if you read:
"I hear you and I need to go"
There is an energy after this latter sentence that makes space for something else! Maybe another option, to be created together. It's possible to open myself to new possibilities and bring fluidity to my decisions.
"AND" leaves the door open to exceptional guests in our lives and...who knows? Something amazing can happen!
